About Shila Korean Restaurant
Located at 404 Santa Fe Dr #101, Fayetteville, NC 28303, Shila Korean Restaurant operates as a korean restaurant serving Fayetteville in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Fayetteville, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ8 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Fayetteville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fayetteville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Even though I have been going to Sun next door for decades, this was the first time I had stopped to have lunch at Shila. Although the interior makes it obvious that this restaurant has been here a while with little modernization, it was a solid experience, and I look forward to return. They had just finished what I think was their lunch rush, and there was only one waitress covering the entire front end for most of our time visiting, so she was stretched thin. However, she was still very polite and attentive, and we were never waiting very long to place our order, to receive our drinks, or to receive refills. We were provided very generous portions of the banchan side dishes (kimchi, sprouts, cucumber, radishes, fish cakes), and they were all delicious. We ordered chicken bulgogi and a beef stew, but the kitchen made beef bulgogi and a chicken stew instead. The waitress made every attempt to fix our order, but we insisted on eating what the kitchen had prepared. The food was great! Everything was freshly made, a great temperature, and well-seasoned.

The food was great, it's a relatively small restaurant restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The owner came to our table to ensure we were happy with our meal. If you love Korean food you'll want to support this small Business. My family and I were very happy with our meal.

Went in looking for Korean fried chicken. Got some fried chicken chunks is a delicious sauce. All the extras were delicious as well. The kimchi was my favorite. You will definitely leave full.

This is a little hole in the wall spot, but foodies know that's often where you find the best food. Ultimately, this place did not disappoint. We had the kimchi pancake-very flavorful and large enough for all four of us. We had the croaker (whole fish) and the Galabi beef, which my party enjoyed. The kimchi options were also great, except the zucchini was a bit bland. I had the bimbimb and had them add shrimp because I'm a pescetarian. Getting this accommodation was a bit of a task as they didn't have any shrimp dishes on the menu, but eventually they did make it for me and it was good after adding a lot of Korean red sauce and soy sauce. The bimbimbab was fresh, but just ok with flavor without the sauces. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. My only suggestion would be to have other seafood options, outside of the whole fish and the soup.

Checked out Shila Korean Restaurant. It was very good. While orange chicken is not Korean, it was the best I ever had. It was perfectly crispy with the right amount sauce. The kimchi and pickles were tasty. The galbi was flavorful and not too sweet. The bulgoki could have had a little more flavor, but it was not bad. Surprisingly we enjoyed the OhSam Bulgoki which is a mixture of pork and squid. It had more flavor than the beef with a hint of spicy heat. Everyone liked the bibimbob. I liked the noodle dish. Go with a group like we did, order a bunch of dishes, and eat family style. You will have a fun experience that way and can pick out your favorites!
